Daily Nannys

Daily Nannies can either be sole charge if both parents either work or are not always available or shared charge, where they work along the parents. Daily Nannies are expected to undertake all Nursery duties on the children only. These duties normally include, bathing and dressing the children, children’s washing and ironing, preparing age related nutritious and healthy meals / snacks, tidying away the children’s toys, bedrooms and playroom, they will also make sure the children are active and sociable and will be responsible for organizing play dates, attending toddler groups, library and educational visits as well as fun trips out to the park, etc. School runs, Nursery runs, After School Activities, for older children your Nanny will also help with homework, reading etc. Your Nanny will use her expertise and knowledge to further the children’s development through play. They will give activities such as cooking, reading, age appropriate toys, arts, crafts, and music.

Live In Nannys

A Live In Nanny can either be sole charge if both parents either work or are not always available or shared charge, where they work along the parents. Live In Nannies are expected to undertake daily duties. These duties include a child’s normal daily routine. This may include bathing, dressing ect. A nanny May put the children to bed when requested, will attend to the children’s washing and ironing, preparing related nutritious and healthy meals / snacks.
After the child need have been met the nanny will tidying away the children’s toys, bedrooms and playroom and any other mess made by the nanny or child. The nanny will also make sure the children are active and sociable and will be responsible for organising play dates. The nanny will further the child’s knowledge of understand the world by attending toddler groups, library and educational visits as well as fun trips out to the park, etc. Your Nanny will also help with homework, reading etc. Your Nanny will use her expertise and knowledge to further the children’s development through play this will include age appropriate activity’s to follow the EYFS. They will provide activities such as cooking, reading, age appropriate toys, arts, crafts, and music.

Maternity Nannys

For many new parents, a Maternity Nurse is the shining light at the end of the tunnel! Often qualified but more importantly, very experienced in the care of postnatal mothers and newborn babies. A maternity Nurse is skilled in supporting, caring for and teaching new parents how to care for their newborn baby while also allowing parents the time to rest and recover from the birth of their baby.

Whether baby is breast or bottle fed, a Maternity Nurse will advise and carry out all duties relating to the care of mother and baby during those first crucial weeks following the birth. She will perform “nursery duties” meaning she will take care of all aspects of the baby’s care including washing of baby items and keeping the nursery and feeding equipment clean and tidy. Some parents may simply require the help of a Maternity Nurse to “take over” when they need a rest so it depends on the individual requirements of the family when it comes to the specific duties.
